LJFD Reports Accidental Barn Fire Extinguished at 34250 Hwy 194
At approx 759pm we responded to a reported structure fire at 34250 Hwy 194. Reported barn on fire.

Upon arrival of the first units bystanders had been throwing buckets of water on the outside wall of a barn, small amount of fire and smoke was visible.
Crew used a 1 3/4” hand line to knock down the fire. Crews then began overhaul to make sure of no further fire spread. Crews had to pull off the siding and work on the inside of the wall to full extinguish the fire.

Cause of the fire was from weeds being previously burned along the barn and some embers had gotten up under the siding.
Fire was ruled accidental. All crews returned to service.
