Obituary 

A private family service for current Rocky Ford, Colorado resident, Antonio Saldana will be held at a later date.

Antonio was born on December 6, 1941 in Colorado to Refugio and Vicenta T. (Torres-De) Saldana and passed away on March 13, 2026 at the Pioneer Health Care Center in Rocky Ford at the age of 84.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Erma Hernandez, Lawrence Saldana, Nick Saldana, Mary Sena, Paul Saldana, Lony Saldana, John Saldana, Joe Saldana, Irene Borah, Andrew Saldana and Rebecca Alba.

Antonio is survived by his children Colleen Saldana of Lamar, CO and Susan (Jesse) Vargas of Colorado Springs, CO, grandchildren Anastasia (Jay) Heinz, Adrianna (Thomas) Taylor, Jesse (Rocio) Vargas, Mercedes (Nathaniel) Adame and Danika (Victor) Fernandez as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Antonio Saldana Memorial Fund in care of the Peacock Funeral Home office.
