Colorado State Patrol is Requesting the Public’s Assistance

Hit-and-run seriously injuring juvenile

(Pueblo West, COLO) – The Colorado State Patrol is asking the public for assistance with a serious injury hit-and-run crash involving a juvenile pedestrian Saturday morning in Pueblo West, in Pueblo County.

Law Enforcement was called to a possible disturbance at a house party at the 700 block of S. Springmont Dr., in Pueblo West, Colorado. Upon arrival to the area, responders found a juvenile had been struck by a vehicle, and the vehicle fled the scene.

On Saturday, March 28, 2026, at approximately 2:28 a.m., troopers responded to the area of S Springmont Dr., in Pueblo County, for the pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle.

The initial investigation shows that the pedestrian, a 16-year-old female, was standing in the road on S Springmont Drive. An unknown vehicle was traveling southbound on S. Springmont Drive. The vehicle struck the pedestrian with its front and fled the scene of the crash. The juvenile pedestrian was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.

Crash investigators believe the unknown “run” vehicle to be an unknown model, white Lexus sedan, with no registration. It is believed to have front-end damage, possibly including the hood.
