La Junta Senior Golf League Announces May 26 Scramble Results

The La Junta Senior Golf League met on May 26 for nine holes of scramble golf.  Thirty-nine golfers played the "Lucky Draw Game."  It was the luck of the draw for extra putts, mulligans, move up a tee box, or an extra chance at the challenge putt.  There were two challenge chips on holes #3 and #7 that went unclaimed.  Several made the challenge putt on hole #1: CaSandra Thomas (twice), Joe McClain (twice), Janet Golding, Pat Engebrecht, Joy Grasmick, Ross Bender, Larry Herrera, Cathy Bollacker, and Dave Dutton.

There is NO Senior Golf next week due to vacations.  The next meeting of the La Junta Senior Golf League is June 6.  Registration will be open from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m., with teams being picked at 9:45 a.m. No players can be added after this time as play is scheduled to begin at approximately 10:00 a.m. Please call 719-469-0691 if you anticipate being late for registration but will be able to tee off on time.
