Rocky Ford Man Arrested Twice in One Day, Faces Robbery and Multiple Trespassing Charges

Arrested twice on the same day

Rocky Ford, Colo. - June 16th, 2026 - At about 7:08 A.M. Rocky Ford Police were notified of a male sleeping in a vehicle at Absolute Auto in the 100 block of North Main. Officers located Gary Bramlett (62) in a vehicle on the property and arrested him. Bramlett was booked into the Otero County Sheriff's Office on the charges of violation of a protection order and 2nd degree criminal trespass.

Bramlett had previously been arrested on April 11th, 2026 for trespassing in vehicles at Absolute Automotive.

Bramlett was released from jail on a PR (personal recognizance) bond later in the day.

On June 16th, 2026 at about at 9:45 P.M., Bramlett was arrested again in the 1400 block of Elm Avenue on charges of: Robbery, 1st Degree Criminal Trespass (Motor Vehicle), Second Degree Criminal Trespass, Attempted 1st Degree Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft, 3rd degree Assault, and Theft (less than $300).

Bramlett is currently being held in the Otero County Jail on a $3,000 cash only bond.

Bramlett is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
