Willow Fire update 6/29/2026 5:30pm

The Willow Fire has become more active again this afternoon not long after we posted our previous update. Helicopters are back up and conducting water drops on the hotter areas of the fire. As fire activity increases, the public should expect to see a larger and more visible smoke column through the afternoon and early evening.

All closure evacuation and closures can be found on the Lake County Office of Emergency Management webpage https://www.lakecountyco.gov/.../Office-of-Emergency...
