PUEBLO COUNTY, CO — The Pueblo County Coroner has identified the woman whose body was recovered from the water near the Yucca Flats Campground at Lake Pueblo State Park on July 27, 2026.

The decedent has been identified as 34-year-old Jacqueline C. Montez. Next of kin have been formally notified.

This remains an active investigation by the Pueblo County Coroner’s Office. The cause and manner of death are pending the results of an autopsy. 

No further details are available at this time.
