Walk to End Alzheimer’s La Junta Mini Walk Set for August 29

LA JUNTA, Colo. — The Alzheimer’s Association invites the community to come together for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s – La Junta Mini Walk on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at La Junta City Park.

The event begins at 10 a.m., followed by a ceremony at 10:45 a.m. and the walk at 11 a.m. Participants will join together to raise awareness and funds in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

With new treatments emerging, organizers say now is a time for hope, action and continued community support.
