Arkansas Valley Fair Grand Parade

Address: East Washington Ave. in Rocky Ford, CO
Meet Time: 9:30 AM

Parking will be limited in the area. Carpooling was recommended. The parade will go through downtown/Main Street and starts at 10 AM. There is not set order. “First come, first down”. The Rf Lions Club will be directing traffic in golf carts.

Feel free to bring and/or make (appropriate) decorations, posters, noise makers, small party favors, & candy to hand out. Class members that are small business owners are encouraged to bring flyers, swag, business cards, etc. to hand out as well. Items cannot be thrown to the crowd! This is a kid-friendly event.

Feel free to have your children be part of the parade with us. You can bring strollers, bikes, and horses to walk alongside/behind/ahead of us. Please come prepared to walk (good shoes, water, sun screen, etc.). This event is FREE!

Official Reunion Dinner & Mingle

Time: 5–8 PM

The Mexico City Cafe Patio has been reserved for the event. There will be a $5.00 entry fee per person. You can pay with cash/check/Venmo at the door OR you can pay ahead of time via Venmo (@Kourtnei-Osborn).

Every class member gets a +1. There will be a 4 option food menu available for the dinner. Each option includes one drink and will be about $20. Tips not included. Please remember that Mexico City only accepts cash/checks. The venue does not accept credit/debit cards. There is an ATM on-site.

Cocktail attire, or similar, preferred but not required. This event is 21+ only. The bar will stay open later if we are still drinking/partying.

Other Community Events Available Friday:

These events are not officially part of our class reunion schedule, simply added bonuses for the weekend!

Rides at the fair will run from 11 AM to Midnight. There will be BINGO at the fair (in the BINGO Building) from 1–10 PM. The Beer Garden under the Grandstand and the Pavilion will be open Noon to Midnight. Rodeo events (tickets required).
