Steven Richard Mora was born on March 10, 1987, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Annette Martinez and Steve Mora. He passed away on August 26, 2026, in Las Animas, Colorado, at the age of 39.

Steven grew up in Albuquerque, where he attended school and graduated from Manzano High School in 2004. Following graduation, he entered the workforce and began building a life filled with creativity, music, and the activities he enjoyed.

Steven was a talented tattoo artist who found a unique way to express his creativity through his work. He enjoyed rollerblading and football and had a passion for music. He was also a member of the band Messenger, where he shared his love of music with others.

Steven is survived by his children, Uriah Mora and Nicole Mora; mother, Annette Martinez; father, Steve Mora; sister, Shannon Martinez; nephew, Mario Martinez; nieces, Dominique Martinez and Shantel Martinez; and great nieces, Ivori and Emerie; close cousins, Bernadette, Rebekah Suina, Chastity Salazar, Fidel Daniel Talache, Michael, Stephanie Martinez, Amanda, Sam, George and Cyndi Manzanares, Joshua, and many other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanette; grandparents, Tessie Martinez, Raymond Martinez, Margaret Sandoval, and Raymond Sandoval.
