Fire Crews Hold Lines Overnight in Bent County as 60-Acre Fire Reaches 50% Containment

Fire crews are out working again this morning. All lines held overnight. Crews are working to strengthen lines today and mop up any hotspots.

As for right now containment is 50% with an estimated acreage of 60 acres.

A heat detection plane (DFPC Multi mission aircraft) will be enroute shortly to provide a more accurate acreage along with any hot spots that crews cannot see due to the thick brush. Thank you all for your continued support.
