La Junta Senior Golf League - results for September 8, 2026

The La Junta Golf Course was set up as a par-3 course for the Senior Golf League on September 8. Thirty-six players split up into nine teams. The challenge chip was on hole # 3 and no one was able to make that chip.  The challenge putt was on hole #6 and Claudia Conley was the only golfer to sink that putt.

On September 15, we will have a regular scramble with a special event for all in attendance before play begins.  The greens should be in better condition after the annual aerating and dressing (a couple of weeks ago) and they have had time to grow and be mowed.

Registration will be open from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. with teams being picked at 8:45 a.m. No players can be added after this time. Play is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:00 a.m. Please call 719-469-0691 if you anticipate being late for registration but will be able to tee off on time.
