Dear City Council Members,
I meet the requirements for and am writing to express my interest in serving as Mayor of the City of Rocky Ford for the period ending November 2027. For the last 15 years in Rocky Ford, I dedicated much of my professional and volunteer life to strengthening the institutions that serve our community. I believe I can contribute steady leadership, disciplined governance, professional accountability, and collaborative problem solving for the betterment of Rocky Ford. 

While I am a newer member of the City Council, my commitment to public service is longstanding. With more than 25 years of leadership experience across healthcare, manufacturing, consulting, public service, workforce development, and nonprofit governance, I have built a career around financial stewardship, operational excellence, project management, and accountability. 

I believe Rocky Ford deserves leadership that is transparent, steady, and focused on longterm progress while dealing with the short-term challenges the community faces. My background in governance, finance, and strategic planning has prepared me to support the City’s mission and work constructively with Council, staff, and residents. I would be honored to serve as Mayor and contribute to the continued success and stability of our community.

I fully understand the time commitment, responsibility, and focus required of the mayoral role. If selected to serve, I am prepared to adjust my current volunteer obligations—including stepping down from roles where necessary—to ensure I can dedicate the appropriate time, attention, and energy to the City of Rocky Ford. My priority would be to provide stable, engaged, and accessible leadership for our community.
