La Junta Senior Golf League - results for October 6, 2026

Forty-eight senior golfers enjoyed playing nine holes of scramble golf at the La Junta Golf Course on October 6.  It was a ball-toss format day, with mulligan tickets for the first 35 golfers registered, and it made for some very low scores. The challenge chip was on hole #3; no one made that chip.  The challenge putt on hole #7 was made by Mark Johnston and Frank Broce.

Next week, October 13, is our last Senior Golf League match for the year.  We will begin one hour later: play will start at 10:00 a.m.  Our format will be a special end-of-the-year theme with a different "game" on each hole.  CaSandra Thomas will provide cupcakes following our round.  Thank you CaSandra!!

Registration will be open from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m., with teams being picked at 9:45 a.m.  No players can be added after this time. Play is scheduled to begin at approximately 10:00 a.m. Please call 719-469-0691 if you anticipate being late for registration but will be able to tee off on time.
