Aspen Acres Fire Evacuations Expand Near Red Creek Ranch as Red Flag Warning Continues

UPDATE: ASPEN ACRES FIRE 7/1/26
UPDATE: As of 10:59 a.m. - Mandatory Evacuations:
Red Creek Ranch Area, north of Hwy 78, south of Hwy 96, west of Siloam Road.
As of 9:40 a.m. - The following areas are now on pre-evacuation:
Hwy 78 to Hwy 96
From the Town of Beulah east to Siloam Road is now on pre-evacuation notice. Be prepared to leave.
As of 9 a.m. -- PRE-EVACUATION for Red Creek at the Custer County/Pueblo County Line at County Rd. 387. Be prepared to leave. If you may need additional time to evacuate, you may want to leave now.
NO EVACUATION ORDERS HAVE BEEN LIFTED! Please follow officials sources for information on the Aspen Acres Fire. Contact the Joint Information Center, (719) 583-4640.
A Disaster Assistance Center will open today at 1 p.m. at Pueblo Academy of Arts (formerly Pitts Middle School), 29 Lehigh, for evacuees from Pueblo and Custer counties. Please enter on the East Side of the building (parking lot on Colgate Lane). The center will remain open until 5 p.m.
The evacuation shelter remains open at the Pueblo County Recreation Center, 1650 Cooper Place. (Small animals accepted).
The large animal/livestock shelter is open at the Colorado State Fairgrounds, (Enter Gate 7 off of Small Ave.)
Red Flag warning for today from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and tomorrow from 10 a.m. to Midnight.
